10 Things We Love About Providence

If you’re looking for a great place to put down roots in Las Vegas, the beautiful master-planned community of Providence offers many attractive amenities. Located in the Northwest part of the valley, residents and visitors have access to parks, shopping, dining and entertainment options, nearby natural attractions, and so much more. Our newest community of affordable modern townhomes is underway here as well, another reason why Providence is special to us. Listed below are just a few things we think future homeowners will absolutely love about Providence.

Master-Planned Living

Not every neighborhood will offer even half of the things available to residents in this desirable master plan. Beautiful tree-lined streets, community events, courtesy patrol, and even decorations around the holidays are all amenities to enjoy while living here. We are big believers in offering homeowners unbeatable amenities and love that Providence has everything you could ever dream of for your home and family.

Local Businesses

There are many shopping and dining options near Providence. Kohl’s, TJ Maxx, and Sprouts are a few retail and grocery stores only minutes from the community, as well as a diverse selection of restaurants such as Rachel’s Kitchen and Krazy Sushi.

Parks

Described as a physically-active community, residents can enjoy countless hours of recreation at a number of parks and outdoor spaces in Providence. Knickerbocker Park and Huckleberry Park offer miles of walking trails and bike paths, picnic areas, multi-use events field, splash pad, community dog park, playgrounds, and exercise stations. Having a shaded area to kick back or workout is definitely appreciated on those hot Vegas days. The Promenade serves as the centerpiece of Providence where many people go for a leisurely stroll.

Events

There are frequent educational, social and cultural events that take place in the community. Past gatherings have consisted of live music and games in the park, community yard sales, and holiday celebrations. For information on any upcoming events, click here.

Sense of Community

Providence was originally inspired by a time in our recent history where everyone knew their neighbors and we all lived  in a small town. This nostalgia motivates the community’s culture. Year-round events in Providence not only provide endless amounts of fun, they help to unify residents and strengthen a sense of community. Check out their community Instagram page to learn more.

Natural Attractions

Nature lovers can trek to areas nearby for a day of hiking and exploring. Check out one of these Mt. Charleston Hikes this weekend!

Sunsets

We might be a little biased but the most spectacular sunsets are seen from Providence. We love that residents can unwind after a long day by watching majestic skies as the sun dips behind the mountains. Don’t take our word for it. Residents love to share their sunset photos on the Providence Facebook page!

Easy Access to I-215 and U.S. 95

Along with nearby shopping and dining, Providence is conveniently located near the I-215 Beltway and U.S. 95. The Strip is only about 30 minutes from the community and residents have easy access to just about anywhere in Las Vegas.

Schools

Families will love having many schools mere blocks or a short drive away from home. Centennial High School, Escobedo Middle School, and Bozarth Elementary are all located nearby and charter schools such as Somerset Academy are within walking distance.

Brownstones at Providence

This is an exciting time to consider a move to Providence because our newest community, the final new home neighborhood to be built in the master plan, will offer residents more great amenities. Brownstones at Providence has two-story townhome residences with 10′ ceilings on both floors, spacious master suites, private balconies and patios, attached garages, community pool, spa, pet park and much more.
